IDEAL HOME: Somewhat quiet. Older children. Since Dahlia has made great strides in developing self-confidence after her healing (see below), Dahlia would continue to soar with confident owners.

When Dahlia arrived to us from a high-kill shelter, with her brother, Jalopy, both suffered common mange. Not only was she furless, she also suffered entropion. It's unimaginable every time she would blink her eyelashes scraped her corneas. We proceeded with a successful surgery after her spay, and for the first time Dahlia could view the world with her eyes open with no constant irritation. She knew. She knew her life had changed and her relief simply glowed,

During her healing process Dahlia would frolic with her brother and another darling named Caroline. Once Dahlia full healed she was moved to a foster home with her foster mom Sally and Sally's 7-year-old male Lab, Jonah.

Dahlia is slightly timid when she meets a stranger, but within minutes she engages with warmth and affection. Dahlia is quiet and barks only when there's an unknown in the yard. Her favorite resting place is at the feet of her foster mom. Because Dahlia is still a puppy she is crated, for a limited time only, when unsupervised.
