Dahlia is a 4 yr old beagle who joined us after a life of living in a puppy mill and being used for breeding. She has since been learning to trust people. She is doing really well with her fosters but patience may be required by an adopter while she learns her new home. She is housebroken and good with cats and dogs. Very sweet girl and well worth allowing her some time to continue to learn to trust new people. She will require a secure physically fenced in yard and another dog in the home. Mill dogs will often shut down completely if no other dogs around, plus they will continue to learn from existing dogs. All animals are kept in foster homes so there is no shelter for you to visit animal. Please go to https://new2urescue.org/adoption/adoption-application/ if you would like to meet the foster animal or learn more.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.

Adoption fees:
Puppy to 1 yr of age: $350 to $400
1 yr to 6 yrs of age: $250 -$400
6 yrs to 8 yrs of age: $200 -350
Over 9 yrs of age: Adoption fee varies
*NOTE* Purebreds and Designer breeds, regardless of age are $325 to $400
