D.O.G. pronounced "Dee-O-Gee" is a sweet brindle male American Pit Bull Terrier born approximately September 5, 2023. He and His buddy Xena have a sad story. Their previous owner was a homeless woman, who overdosed on the streets and died with the pups by her side. The Authorities came and picked up her body, but left the dogs under the care of the woman's other homeless friends (they did the best they could given the circumstances and cared for the dogs). The local Pet Supermarket in Pompano Beach contacted us to assist with the dogs and help them get vet care they needed and place them into homes. We stepped up to the plate, and here we are! D.O.G. is a very sweet boy that is very social with people - the vet staff loved him! He has a calm demeanor and not very high energy. He loves to lay by your side while you watch tv or he will curl up in his crate and take a nap in there. He is not a fast eater and will nibble his food as he pleases. He is crate trained, potty trained, and is dog friendly. If you're interested in adopting D.O.G., you must own your own home and have a fenced in yard.
D.O.G. is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, fecal tested negative, heartworm tested negative, and is up to date on vaccinations. He is on monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.
