Cyrus Pit Bull Terrier Mix Portland, OR

CYRUS! This is the sweetest boy and he is looking for a home in a rural setting, no neighborhood cats to tease him! He has been been a perfect boy in his foster home which is in the country. Even though there are lots of animals outside the fence he does not feel the need to chase them. He will pull on leash in the city when on walks when he sees cats, squirrels and even a rowdy cockapoo.

Cyrus is a tripod, that’s right he is missing a leg but don’t worry, it doesn’t slow him down! He runs down a flight of steps (and up again) multiple times a day to go to his foster home’s backyard.

Cyrus is around 3 years old and around 70 lbs. He is a low/medium energy dog.

Cyrus is house trained and no matter the circumstance has never had an accident in the house. He will whine to let you know he needs to go outside. He likes people and other dogs. He is not a dog park dog. His injury is healed but he would not feel comfortable being tossed into a dog park.

Cyrus will chase cats and small animals. He hasn’t caught any and we are making sure he doesn’t. We want to place Cyrus in a home with a secure fence and a rural setting. He is currently fostered in a home just like that and pays zero attention to anything outside the fence.

Cyrus makes the best companion. He gets up and does his zoomies in the yard then would like to hang out. He is a big napper and cuddler!

He doesn’t mind being left at home if you need to go out (he snoozes in his crate). He loves car rides. He would be fine as an only dog but has found enjoyment with his foster brothers and sisters. He is a funny and sweet guy, he gets excited to go out and is just as excited to come back in.

Cyrus has had his vaccinations, heart wormed tested, has been neutered, de-wormed, flea/tick treatment and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350.
