Curtis's Story

Please welcome our new friend, Curtis, to Wescue!

Curtis is a sweet boy who likes to be with his peeps, but that won’t stop him from dashing out the door if the opportunity arises. The dogtors say he’s around 6 years old. He had skin and ear infections when he came in and he needed a dental, but those have been taken care of. He will need to stay on a good quality grainfree food to keep his skin and ears healthy.

Curtis is heartworm positive and has started pretreatment to get rid of the parasites. WSRH will cover treatment following protocol established by the American Heartworm Society.

Curtis has been vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and had his teeth cleaned. His adoption donation is $450 and includes 6 months’ heartworm preventative meds, prepaid lifetime premium microchip registration, and safety harness.

If you are interested in meeting and/or fostering Curtis, please apply online at wsrh.com

Please do NOT send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large number of inquiries. If you have a specific question, please email us at westiehouston@gmail.com but in order to be considered for adoption, you must complete an application.

All dogs are available until “Adoption Pending” is noted next to their names.
