Meet Crouton! <br/><br/>Male <br/>Estimated DOB: 11/2/2025<br/><br/>Crouton is a sweet, soulful puppy who was found abandoned in a Chicago suburb alongside his sister, who has already found her forever home. Now it’s Crouton’s turn to be someone’s whole world.<br/><br/>Compared to many puppies, Crouton is on the more reserved and chill side. He’s sweet as can be and loves to observe before jumping in, making him a wonderful fit for a home that appreciates a calmer puppy personality. That said—he’s still very much a puppy and will need a family ready for all the joys (and responsibilities!) of raising a young dog.<br/><br/>Crouton is very food motivated, which is helping him make great progress with potty training—though it’s still a work in progress. His crate training is going well, and he’s learning that it’s a safe, cozy place to rest. After braving the cold, one of his favorite things to do is stretch out on the floor vents to warm up and relax.<br/><br/>This stunning boy is gentle, affectionate, and eager to learn. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Crouton is going to grow into an incredible companion.<br/><br/>If you’re ready to guide a sweet puppy through his next chapter and give him the home he deserves, Crouton is ready to meet you!<br/><br/>Adopters will be provided a voucher to cover the cost of neuter at a local participating vet when age appropriate. <br/><br/>Interested in adopting? If your application is selected, we will contact you for a phone interview.
