Cricket is a beautiful, affectionate 2-year-old Boxer/Pit mix with a big heart and an even bigger wiggle. She absolutely adores her people and thrives on love and connection. Once she bonds with you, she’s your shadow — loyal, cuddly, and eager to please.

Cricket was deeply loved by her elderly owner, but her strength and bouncy energy proved too much for him physically. She’s knocked him down a couple of times just being her happy, playful self. With heavy hearts, he’s made the difficult decision to find her a new home where she can be safe, active, and loved.

Cricket is a bit shy with new people and situations, so she’ll do best in a calm, patient home with someone who can help her feel safe and build her confidence. Once she warms up, her true personality shines — playful, snuggly, and full of goofy charm.

Cricket would do best with:

• A secure yard or someone active who enjoys walks
• Patience and consistency while she adjusts

She has done well with a smaller dog in the past and may enjoy a canine companion with the right match and slow introductions.
