Meet Crepes

Meet Crepes!
Built like a small tank but a total love bug at heart, Crepes is ready to roll into your life and make it better. This hunky boy is believed to be around 1.5 years old and weighs a solid 45–50 lbs of pure muscle. He appears to be fully grown. Without a DNA test, we can’t confirm his exact breed mix, but it’s pretty clear that he’s a bully breed boy. Please don’t let breed labels steer you away—Crepes is sweet, affectionate, and full of love. The negative perceptions around bully breeds are often unfair and far from the truth with this guy.

We don’t know much about Crepes’ past, but he was found as a stray wandering the streets of Texas and brought to one of our shelter partners. Lucky for him, his finder was actually the shelter’s vet, who instantly fell for his charm and decided to foster him. Since January 2025, Crepes has been thriving in her care!

This bubbly guy makes friends easily and was quick to get along with the other dogs in his foster home. He’s playful and strong—so he may not be the best match for fragile or low-energy pups, and might accidentally knock over small children during playtime. He walks well on a leash and only occasionally pulls when something exciting catches his eye. A Gentle Leader-style harness helps remind him to stay focused and calm.

While Crepes hasn’t been tested around cats, we recommend a home without feline friends. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and rides well in the car. He’s still working on his basic obedience, but he’s incredibly treat-motivated and eager to learn—just waiting for someone to guide him with patience and consistency.

Crepes has an average energy level and would do great in a home that embraces both the joys and responsibilities of raising a young adult dog. He’ll thrive with regular potty breaks, short walks, and playtime to keep his body and brain engaged. While we’d prefer a home with a fenced yard, we’re open to apartments or condos on a case-by-case basis, as long as his exercise needs are met.

If you love that sweet, goofy, intensely loyal bully breed personality, Crepes just might be your perfect match!

Requirements:
-Fenced yard preferred, but apartments/condos considered case-by-case
-Families with older children or dog-savvy kids due to his strength

Health:
Crepes is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. He’s healthy, happy, and ready for his next chapter!

Important Notes:
All our dogs, including Crepes, are currently located in Texas and will be transported only after adoption, with transportation costs included in the adoption fee. While we make educated guesses about breed based on physical traits, we encourage adopters to focus on personality and lifestyle fit rather than breed labels.
