Brace yourselves...this guy is the biggest baby around. The funny thing is though, he is also our BIGGEST baby weighing in at 120lbs already! ? Welcome Cream to the Pyr Paws Family!
MY STORY
You know, I prefer to simple things in life. Like lying in my fosters lap. Napping by her feet, going outside with her, and just being everywhere that my person is. I don't need a fancy house, a gemstone collar, or some gourmet food...all I want is a family that will love me unconditionally. I came into rescue because my family was moving and sadly their new place didn't have room for a dog my size. They wanted to make sure that I ended up somewhere safe, so they surrendered me to this awesome rescue.
ABOUT ME
My name is Cream and I am a 1.5 year old male Great Pyrenees. I currently weigh about 120lbs, yes I am bigger than my pictures show ? With that said though, I am also one of the biggest cuddle bugs around. I have no idea that I am actually a giant and will try to curl up in your lap. Here is what my foster says about me
"Cream is a total sweetheart. I call him Kareem Abdul-Jabbar because he’s huge for a puppy! He loves human contact. Constantly gives hugs and kisses. He tries so hard to be a lap dog, but he’s just so big it doesn’t always work! If I’m up doing chores around the house he prefers to follow me around everywhere. If I’m calm and settled in for the night, he will lay down on the floor near me. The initial change of scenery was hard for him (anxiety), but after a week in my house, he is getting use to the new routine and feeling more relaxed. He enjoys playing with the other foster puppy in my home. He’s very submissive with my dogs and has zero aggression. He’s your typical sweet natured Pyrenees. He will need patience and nurturing to feel safe in his new home. After awhile, he will come out of his shell and relax a little more!"
Wondering how my personality is out and about? Well, I am pretty welcoming and friendly to strangers. My foster has not had the chance to take me to any public outings but believes I would do great given my temperament. I have been on one walk so far and I did really well. I do well on car rides and will just plop down. I do very much enjoy giving hugs. My foster is working on this with me, but hopefully you like polar bear sized hugs! ? I have a playful personality, but tend to follow you everywhere. Once you are settled in for the night though, so am I. I have pretty good house manners. So far, I have not really shown to be a chewer but do enjoy my toys. I am unsure if I am a water dog or the kind of pup who likes to play fetch. I am potty trained, as well as kennel trained. At night, I sleep in the bedroom with my foster mom. When my foster is away I am either kenneled, or if the weather is nice outside with the other dogs. I do tend to be more vocal outside if I hear things. I am good with other dogs and playful with them. I have not been around any cats or kids in my foster home. My former home did say that I was good with kids though.
WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN MY NEW HOME ACCORDING TO MY FOSTER
-Cream would probably do best with another dog to play with and keep him company. He has some anxiety and loves to follow me around everywhere. Having another dog in the house helps him spend energy elsewhere. I think he would do best with older kids because of his size. He is so sweet and gentle, but he’s bigger than I am and would really tower over toddlers. He could also do well as an only dog as long as his humans spend a lot of time with him.

So, you are wanting a super sweet and cuddly polar bear to join your family? I am so excited about that. I am really looking for someone to bond to, and the thought of finding my furever person or family is just so tail wagging pawtastic!
