A team of volunteers in Jeju worked to catch a band of 6 stray dogs in a village by feeding them at stations and trapping them. They caught the first 5 dogs, but the 6th dog remained loose and when she re-appeared in the area she was accompanied by a litter of puppies. The continued to work to catch her and her puppies, and finally caught them all and got them into foster care.

Cozy is one of the puppies from this litter. He is a playful young pup that does well with other dogs and is currently in a foster home with his sister, Joy. Cozy can be shy meeting new people but warms up with some patience and treats. If meeting new people in a home he may bark at the new person and be cautious around them, but given space he will investigate them on his own terms and ask for pets once he feels comfortable. Cozy has met a child around 5 years old, and was initially timid meeting them but quickly warmed up and wagged his tail at them.

Cozy is good on leash and is housebroken. He does get a little carsick (drools) and may resource guard treats around unfamiliar dogs. He has not been cat tested. The ideal family for Cozy is one that understands the responsibility of raising a young dog, and can commit to training him to be a great canine citizen!
