This pretty girl is Covey!

Covey is an approximately 10-month old female Pit Bull/Labrador mix and currently weighs 40 lbs. Covey was rescued as a stray off the streets.

She is a spunky, friendly, and fun dog! She loves to play with toys and other dogs, but she is an energetic player, so she needs a home with another dog around her size who like to play “rough”. She is in a foster home with cats and is fine with them.

Covey is a sassy girl with a dominant personality toward other female dogs so a home with a male(s) dog would be best. She LOVES to cuddle and be with her people.

She would also be fine as an only dog as long as she has an active owner who gives her plenty of exercise and quality time. Covey also enjoys singing the song of her people and can be vocal, so she would not be a good fit for an apartment.

She will need a backyard with a stockade fence and a home visit is required. Covey LOVES her food and treats and doesn't want to share, so she will need to be fed separately from other animals. She also guards her food from people so she cannot go to a home with children.

Covey is crate and house trained, and may need some assistance with leash training. Requires a home visit.

Covey is spayed, vaccinated, on heartworm preventative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.00
