Shady is 5-6 years old. Owners have had him since he was 6-8 weeks old and he is a wonderful dog. Unfortunately, Shady is spending way too much time in the crate as his persons are working all the time. They are not able to leave him outside given an unpleasant neighbor that lives nearby.

Shady loves attention, is a bit of a goofball and is curious about new things. Shady is dog friendly and is excellent with kids. He lives with a baby and a 4 yr old child. We are not sure about cats.

Shady would ideally need to be fed separately from other pets or in his crate as he likes to have his food all to himself. He is not resourceful about his food with humans, only other dogs.

Shady has a fairly high energy level and would love an active owner. He’s house trained and crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He could brush up on leash work.

Shady does ok in the car; he does usually need some encouragement to get in. There is some concern about a potential food or seasonal allergy, but this could be easily ruled out with proper attention to the matter as he gets a little flare-up of diarrhea and red paws.

Shady is neutered, up to date on vaccinations. He currently weighs about 80 lbs. Located in Raymore, MO.
