Meet Coty
Coty is a 10 year old chow who found his way to the shelter when his owner passed away. He was severely matted when he arrived at the shelter so his look has changed dramatically as you can see in the posted photos. It was necessary to shave away the matts and now Coty looks like a shorn lamb!
Coty is a typical, yet friendly chow. He is slightly skittish with new people and situations, but warms up quickly. He walks nicely on the leash and enjoys the freedom to graze in the yard. It is reported that he enjoys car rides and is completely house trained. Coty is quiet and polite in manner. He would make an excellent companion in an adult household that is predictable and calm.
