Cosy Australian Shepherd Elk River, MN

Cosy is 2 1/2 year old male aussie (brother to Blaze) that came into rescue after his owner died. He is scared and will need a securely fenced yard and a patient owner as he adjusts to a new life. His foster reports: "Cosy loves the outdoors as well but is ready to come in long before Blaze. Looks at squirrels but chases his brother. Cosy doesn't chew things up. Cosy goes outside to potty but has an occasional accident in the house. Cosy will acknowledge a treat but will not take it from your hand. He wants it placed at his paws. Has a safe place he runs to in the hall before you can pet him. Not aggressive at all. Even when cornered. Crate trained. Resistant initially to the leash, locks down to floor, but will walk on leash with harness. Bonded to brother but possibly overpowered by him. Cosy plays well with other dogs. He likes to be patted and have his ears scratched."
