Corona (TN)'s Story

Corona is an adorable NUT. She loves toys (especially balls), enjoys romping around, adores attention, and delights in pestering her foster brother--stealing his toys right out of his mouth and sometimes sitting on him! She is as fun-loving and silly as a puppy but we think she is actually 3-4 years old. This sweet-as-heck and super gentle gal weighs a sturdy 19 lbs. Her parentage is unknown, but in many ways, both physically and temperamentally, she resembles a French bulldog / rat terrier mix, also known as a French ratter! Corona is athletic and energetic but also super cuddly. Her house training is coming along nicely, as she gets more comfortable with our routine and gains confidence that she isn't going to be left outside alone so that she can concentrate on "getting down to business.<br/>Corona is people-focused, alert, and curious, and she truly wants to please. She enjoys following you around like a little chocolate shadow, and she loves everyone she meets--even delivery people. She also gets along well with other dogs, especially those who like to run and frolic with her and don't mind sharing their playthings. Corona is exceptionally food-motivated, making training fun and mealtimes quick, but even with her love of treats, her manners are nice. She does not try to snatch food from you, counter surf, or help herself to food on the coffee table. She is enthusiastic about leash walks but needs a lot of practice going in a straight line at a moderate pace.
