Introducing… Cora! Have you ever seen a more beautiful poodle in your life?! Cora is a rare chocolate merle poodle and she is going to be just gorgeous when some of her coat grows back in. She came in from a puppy mill and was dirty and matted, and had to be shaved. At some point her tail was broken and healed too. You can see her champagne color with chocolate brown spots. So cute! She is 3 years old and small for a standard poodle - more medium sized at around 40 pounds. Cora is shy at first but warms up. Like many puppy mill dogs, everything is still new to her! She loves other dogs and has played well with males, females, and small dogs. She has shown some interest in cats but not aggression. She is doing well with potty training and crate training and is still learning about walking on a leash. She needs a home with a fenced back yard, another dog that she can play with, and humans that can be patient with her as she learns and adjusts to being a dog! This incredible, beautiful girl is waiting for you! Can you open your heart to her?

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
