Cora's Story

Are you in need of snuggles to keep you warm this winter? Meet Cora, the snuggle queen! Cora is a 2 year old, mixed breed - she is listed as Rottweiler/Springer Spaniel but she has the personality of a Golden Retriever. Cora is a happy dog who absolutely loves being around her humans. She can be found at your side, most of the time, but she also loves lounging in a comfy spot and is especially happy exploring outside. When the door opens, she bounds across the yard looking for any squirrels or bunnies that are invading her yard. Cora loves playing fetch, especially with her favorite ball. When lounging on the couch, she enjoys invading all your personal space to ensure maximum pets and love. She walks nicely on leash, though she can get a little enthusiastic when she sees other dogs. Cora also enjoys joining her foster family on outdoor patio adventures, where she likes to keep an eye on all the people and pups passing by. Cora does well with people and dogs of all sizes. She does get a little bouncy in order to get attention but she is learning that she needs to keep her feet on the ground. Cora rides well in the car and walks decent on a leash, just a little pulling when something interesting is nearby. Cora barks very little, just now and then when there is a dog outside or when she’s enticing another dog to play. Because she loves to chase small critters, she would do best in a home without cats or other small pets. Cora is crate-trained and completely housebroken. She sleeps soundly in her kennel overnight and relaxes there while her foster family is away. While Cora gets along well with other dogs, she would also be perfectly content as your one and only, soaking up all the love. This sweet and affectionate girl gave her all as a mom to her litter of 6 pups and is now looking for a home where she can be the one pampered and adored. Cora can’t wait to meet her forever family!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00
