COQUITA Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Tucson, AZ

Coquita may have been named after the Coquito, a traditional Puerto Rican Christmas drink that's made with coconut milk and rum and whose name translates to little coconut in Spanish. Our Coquita is definitely as sweet as a coconut (though at just four years old she doesnt know much about the rum)! Coquita is a day trip favorite who has been hiking, explored downtown Tucson, grabbed a bite to eat at In-N-Out, and has made tons of new friends! Coquita is the sweetest doggy with a huge heart. She loves cuddles and kisses and being in your arms. She's very curious of the world. She gets excited to play but is overall very calm. Please adopt this sweet soul! Coquita is a sweetheart who just wants to be loved! She loves getting pets on her snout, being held and kissed, and playing with toys. She loves to run at the park and didnt bark at dogs or people she encountered. Coquita was the perfect buddy today. She quickly came out her shell after behaving very well during her bath. Sat perfectly during car rides from place to place and hiked like a champ. Her energy grew as she became more comfortable and she wanted to say hello to every person and dog in sight. All in all, she is a fantastic dog. Coquita also took part in a recent public dog walk: Coquita did well on leash and enjoyed a sniffari in the grass for her treats. She also took treats well from my hand. Coquita has been playful and social when meeting other dogs in playgroup; shed like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit.
