What is Reggie's Friends-Houston’s adoption process?

Reggie's Friends is a TX-based rescue with dogs placed in loving homes across the country. We use reputable transport to move unwanted dogs from TX to amazing families in the NE, Pacific NW, and sometimes even into Canada. Adoption process: Rill out an adoption application on our website www.reggiesfriends.org. Hover over the "Adoptables" tab and the link to the online application will appear. Following the application, a member of our team will perform a reference and a vet check and connect potential adopters with the animal's foster family for either a phone or video chat. We feel this is an important step in our out-of-state adoption process so that potential adopters can "meet" both the animal and us! Our out-of-state adoption fee is $500 USD, which helps to cover the animal's transport costs (including a flight and a kennel) an their relevant vet care.
