Meet COPPER
Copper was picked up as an injured stray on 11/05/22 and found near UP RIVER RD. here in Corpus Christi, TX. He was taken to an emergency clinic over the weekend due to multiple abrasions and scrapes on his body and as well under his right eyelid. His RF antebrachium (segment of the forelimb between the elbow and wrist joint) is swollen 2x normal size but is weight bearing on this limb. Despite his injury, Copper has been very friendly and social with staff. Copper is being monitored by our vet staff and is being kept comfortable while in our care. We are requesting rescue placement so Copper may receive any additional medical treatment he may need. Copper has shown great improvement during his short recovery at CCACS and has been incredibly sweet with all staff. Please consider Copper when looking for a furever pet for our family.
