Meet Cooper! Cooper is a one year old mixed breed dog that was surrendered back to CCHS because he likes to chew up items that he shouldn't. Crating him when he cannot be supervised will help with this behavior as will plenty of exercise. He has lived with another dog and was good friends with it. He has also lived with a cat but preferred chasing it. Cooper isn't a bad dog but he does need some basic training. He looks like he has some cattle dog in him and they are known to be full of energy and always looking for something to do. Cooper loves to cuddle and play with all kinds of toys. The adoption fee is $100.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
