MEET COOPER!

Adorable chi mix who will steal your heart!

Cooper' small but LOVES going on long walks and going for hikes! His favorite things include mini tennis balls, salmon treats, and CHEESE. You know what else? Travelling!!! He loves rolling around in hotel rooms and sniffing all the smells in new places. Unlike other dogs his size, Cooper doesn’t mind the cold and loves running through the snow! Bonus—he looks extra cute in my winter jacket.

Cooper's also super food motivated! Knows all sorts of tricks and loves to learn new ones. He has great recall, too!

Cooper loves to spend time with his human. He's happy to run errands ton dog-friendly stores (I’m very polite in stores) or just as happy to stay at home.
He doesn't like his crate, but that's ok since he fine in the home left alone. No destruction.

Cooper's ideal home is one with an experienced dog owner who knows, loves and respects the breed. A few issues Cooper's new owner should know and be willing to work on:
An owner that understands he does have anxiety, which is being helped greatly by Prozac.
One that understands that Cooper can guard his humans, so SOLO adult home is best. And that Cooper also shows fear with new people, especially in his space. So a quiet home with few visitors would be great.
One that knows Cooper can be leash reactive since he never learned how to properly interact with other dogs ... but it can be worked on!
One that understands that Cooper doesn't like brooms, vacuums, mops and sometimes attacks them! (lots of dogs do that!)

Cooper can be with another dog who is confident and patient (slow, steady intros needed) It will make Cooper more confident and secure and learn the rules more quickly.

Cooper is ~5 years old, 12-13lbs, neutered, and utd on shots.
