Here is more about Cooper!
4-year-old, 47-pound Lab mix
House-Trained: Yes – let’s you know when he needs to go outside.
Crate-Trained: Yes – Cooper likes his crate and stays there when fosters are out and at night.
Other Dogs: He has had good experiences when playing with other dogs but has barked at other dogs while on walks. Slow, controlled introductions are ideal for him!
Cats: He has had exposure and done well.
Kids: Not good in a home with kids.
Training: He knows sit, stay, shake, lay down and come. Cooper is working on leash training with his fosters and does fairly well on walks.
Cooper is a cheerful dog who loves to play! Peanut butter is a must-have treat and he also loves toys that squeak. Loud noises are not his favorite thing and barks at small noises, so apartment living is not for him. A fenced-yard would be awesome but as long as he gets a good long walk in each day, he would be fine without one!
His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best guess.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
