Meet Cooper

Cooper has found his forever home with Mali and Jeremy in Newton!

NOTE: Cooper is still in the south and not here for you to meet. He will most likely be adopted sight unseen without having a chance to be fostered up here. If you are comfortable with this type of adoption, the first step is to submit an application. Please read all about our wonderful rescue and submit an application at at www.foreverhomerescue.org

Adoption coordinator Kathy

Look at that polka dotted nose! This is Cooper. He is 1 yr old and weighs about 48 lbs. He was born to a stray mom. He has medium energy and will make a great walking Buddy. He likes playing with other dogs, being pet, and treats. He’s shy at first, but loving once he gets to know you. He needs someone who will be patient with him and give him time to settle in. He’s crate and house trained and doing well learning how to walk on a leash. He is still young, and will chew so needs to be crated when left alone. He’s a beautiful young dog that will do great in an active home that has the time and patience to provide training and socialization so he be the best dog he can be. He is not a good match for the city or an apartment. Preference will be given to applicants with an enclosed fence. He hasn’t been cat tested. Adoption fee $400.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
