Cookie Dough's Story

Meet Cookie Dough!
Born around November 2024, Cookie Dough is a sweet and resilient Great Dane mix pup with a heart as big as her paws — and trust us, her fosters lovingly call her Little Foot for a reason!

Cookie Dough has already overcome a tough start to life. She was found as a stray in St. Paul near some trash cans, unable to walk and battling parvo. But this girl is a fighter — now a proud parvo survivor, she’s on the road to recovery and gaining healthy weight every day.

Despite her rough beginnings, Cookie Dough is one of the most affectionate puppies you'll meet. She adores people, especially children, who she loves to snuggle up next to. She's also a social butterfly with other dogs and enjoys friendly playtime.

Her favorite games include tug-of-war and dramatically whipping her toys around, trying to convince her furry (or human!) friends to join in. Her ears have a personality of their own — sometimes they stand up, sometimes they flop — just another one of her charming quirks!

Cookie Dough is:

Great with kids and dogs

Doing well with potty training (occasional accidents are to be expected!)

Comfortable in her kennel

Good in the car

Growing into her big feet and bigger personality

A bit vocal when left outside alone — even if another dog is with her, she’ll sit by the door and bark to come back in. She just loves being close to her people!

If you're looking for a loving, playful, and resilient pup to join your family, Cookie Dough is ready to bring joy, cuddles, and a little bit of goofy ear action into your home!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
