COOKIE is ~6 years old and weighs 65 pounds.

Cookie, Cookie, Cookie starts with C. Woohoo - I just love being named for a Sesame Street puppet. We'll just forget his last name was Monster. I am a big, old hunk of sweet love - monster cookie of sweetness - not one of those mini bites.
Who couldn't love that mug of a face?

I am a mellow thing who prefers a laid-back lifestyle, preferably laying by the pool sipping a piña colada, but will take a fenced yard if that's what you've got. I do like to snuffle about the yard seeking tiny insects or smelling the flowers. When I get a bug in me I even run around the yard. Sleeping on the couch is also a favorite activity, as is playing with my toys. I can get a bit possessive of them too - toys that is, not the couch. I love to share the couch with my humans.

I am a bit of a scaredy cat when I am around unfamiliar dogs. Once I get to know them however, I am very friendly. I am well-behaved and can follow instructions such as: SIT, STAY, ENOUGH and LEAVE IT. Lately I have developed a real irritation towards cats. It must be that smugness they exude. I was very bad recently and attacked my human's cat. I really don't know what got into me. I have lived with these creatures for years and never even cared about them, but suddenly I had enough. That is why I have to leave my current home, as the big people no longer trust me with the rest of the cats. Needless to say, it is probably safer to live in a house without those balls of fur.

I am anxious to find a home that is quiet and relaxing where I can feel safe. I promise to walk the straight and narrow path of goodness from now on.

ADOPTION FEE is $150, and there’s a 10% Discount for Senior Citizens and Veterans.

If you want to learn more about a particular dog, then please submit an Adoption Application. If your application is chosen, you will have the opportunity to meet the dog and to get answers to all of your questions. Thank you for your understanding.
