Cookie was found along with another dog roaming a neighborhood in Houston, TX. She transported to WA to decompress before finding her forever home. <br/><br/>Cookie is dog friendly and has been in two foster homes with other dogs. Initially she was shy of the dogs in her current home. Cookie will often try to play with the other dogs and then will retreat back to her humans. Cookie prefers humans to her four legged friends. She'd be comfortable with other dogs who are okay giving her space and not wanting to play. She'd also be comfortable as the only dog. <br/><br/>Cookie is in a home with kids and is very gentle with them. In general her demeanor is super sweet. <br/><br/>Cookie is housebroken. She walks well on leash and does not often pull. She knows a number of commands and her foster has added stay, come, lay down and hug. One of Cookie's favorite things to do is hold hands. <br/><br/>The foster home has tried to have her sleep in her own bed but she does not want anything to do with her own space. She sleeps in bed with her current fosters. Cookie very much wants to be near or close to her people. She does not wander very far from her foster mom when out of the yard. <br/><br/>Overall Cookie is a really sweet and loving dog. Her ideal home would be on the quieter side. Cookie would prefer if you are home more than you're away.<br/><br/>***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
