Connor Siberian Husky Mix Clear Lake, IA

This is Connor and he has a story to tell. He just turned a year old in January. He is a Siberian Husky mix (with what we don't know) - which means he has a lot of energy. He has lots of love to give to the right family. He appears to be housebroken and is good with other dogs. We doubt he is good with cats.

Here is his story in his words:

My mom asked me if I wanted to go for a ride - in picture one you an see I am one happy guy riding shotgun with my mom. I just love car rides - the wind running through my hair when it is nice outside - just a happy go lucky boy.

I asked my mom where we were going and she told me in picture 2. She said she was taking me to the shelter - as you can see I have a lot of questions about that one - first I didn't know what it was but it didn't sound like a good place to be going on our happy car ride.

We get to this loud and noisy place and she hands me off to someone else. As you can see in picture 3 - I am totally confused - no more happy go lucky car riding boy here. I just don't get what I did wrong and no one can seem to tell me. The folks at the shelter tell me it isn't my fault - that I will find someone to love me just as I am - happy and energetic boy. I sure hope that is true. My only question is when will that new person comes along that makes me look like happy like my first picture?

SHELTER INFORMATION ON CONNOR: He will be a great addition to a very active home. Please don't apply for him if you are looking for an apartment dog - it just isn't him. He isn't a very big dog at just 47 lbs. but does need a ton of exercise.

In order to adopt you have to submit an adoption application and it has to be tentatively approved to visit. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on shots, wormed, heartworm negative and micro-chipped.
