Comet Labrador Retriever Mix Malvern, PA

Comet is a 5 year old neutered male lab mix who weighs about 36.5 lbs, but is thin. Comet and his sister, Candie, were rescued from an overcrowded high intake shelter after being found wandering by themselves. By counting their ribs and pressure sores, it's clear these two haven't lived lives of comfort. Though their bodies are scared, their spirits are unscathed! Comet is a snuggle bug who will try to climb into your lap if he is given the chance. He has a happy personality and loves being with his people. He is very eager to please and seems to have had some training in the past. Comet has done well with other dogs and enjoys being around other canine companions. He and Candie would be best in separate homes however, so we will be looking to place them in different homes. We can see the potential underneath the neglect - with love, kindness, and proper care we have no doubt Comet will flourish! He has experienced too much heartache in the past and we've promised him nothing but the best from here on out. Please help us find Comet the devoted forever family he's been searching for!
