Meet Colton

This is our sweet little survivor Colton!

He is most likely a cool blend of Border Collie, chow chow and perhaps a tiny herding dog.

Hes not only physically darling, but a loyal, gentle, calm pup. He would be perfect for a family with kids of any age. A cuddle bug and perfectly crate trained and super social in doggie groups as well.

He loves everyone: men, women and kids alike. He's great with any size or temperament of dog.

Always the kid to come when he is called or give his foster mom emotional support (great cuddle) and is a true gentleman about his bedtime and dinner time. He actually runs right in his crate to snooze and chew on his bone after a full day of playing outside in a pack.

His Mommy Abra has taught her kids to go out on excursions in the nearby forest, but they know to return home. They also love being in the car or on a sofa and are perfect angels inside.

Colton is a true survivor of living on the streets in Mexico as a puppy and thus is very loyal to his mommy Abra Cadabra, sister Kee Kee, and all doggies that come into the rescue. He is also an ambassador of speed racing and outings at dog parks or visiting with fellow off leash hikers would be stellar!

This family was originally rescued off the streets in Tijuana Mexico and brought back to health by a benevolent Mexican family and great new north american rescue angel named Katie. They took such good care of them in their early weeks and we were more than happy to take on the family stateside.

We love him very much, but its time for them to find his very own family to adore and take care of. :-)

He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchip (registered at time of adoption) and dewormed.

If you are interested in meeting our Colton kid please make sure of the following:

1. You are able to adopt and properly protect a dog that will be only weigh around 30-50 lbs full grown. More on that when we speak.

2. That you understand he will be another member of your family to be adored by all for the next 15 to 20 years.;A fur child to be exact!

3. That this pup will preferably sleep in the bed with your children, grandchildren or yourself, or on a soft fuzzy bed right beside yours.

We are a non profit organization and are dedicated to ALL breeds and mixes. We believe in nurture vs. nature 100%.

If you have gotten to the end of his story and have smartly checked off each of our 3 requirements....please email us a little about your family. ;We would love to meet you!

If you are ready to welcome a new baby into your life and would like to meet our unique man, please email poochiemomma123@gmail.com

Please note, we will no longer be able to field random phone calls or 1 liner email question. Frankly, most of our best adopters are referrals from the 3000+ families who have become Poochie Parents.

We prefer enlighted, kind hearted people that simply understand rescue and don't confuse adopting a fur baby with buying a microwave.

Having said that, thank you for considering adopting vs buying a pet! ;You people make the world a better place. And, we all know mutts make the best family members anyway-right?

The adoption donation/fee for puppies usually includes spay/neuter surgery, 2 rounds of shots, microchip, deworming and current flea treatment. ...just to get everyone off to the right start!

And we only recommend organic food or American made from local feed stores. Keto based and raw is also great.... It has proven to be the healthiest choice for overall weight gain and quick recover to health in all our shelter rescue pets! Also, the grain free foods that are now being produced for our bigger chains are also amazing and grain free. So don't forget to check out Petsmart and Petco for their affordable healthy options now.
