We think he would make a perfect addition to some farms because he likes to stay busy. He is a little bit of a puller when he walks, so an appropriate harness or Weiss Walkie (sold in our Re-Tail Shoppe) would be a good idea.<br/><br/>Colt loves fetch and tug-of-war, but he's equally happy to snuggle in someone's lap. He is a super sweet dog, with two catches - he does not like being around small children OR cats. <br/><br/>Ask to see Colt outside of his kennel to get to know the real him - he never stops smiling!<br/><br/>*Adoption Ambassador (AA) animals are available for adoption but reside in a TCHS foster home instead of in the shelter. Meet-and-greets are scheduled in a first-come, first-served manner. Adoption holds are NOT accepted on AA animals unless the potential adopter has already met the animal. If you are interested in meeting this AA pet, meet-and-greets may be scheduled by calling 320-252-0896.<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
