Meet Colorado
Colorado is a 1-year old Chihuahua. We think he will be about 10-15 lbs once fully grown. Colorado is one of six Chihuahuas surrendered from one house. They are unsocialized, terrified, and need so much work. They will need our experience and patience to get them healthy, happy, and into the amazing home they deserve.
Colorado is probably the most scared of the bunch. He will back away from you, try to hide under the other dogs, and just literally try to melt into the walls or floor. So he is going to require some extra care and attention. He is not aggressive, just terrified.
---
Thank you for your interest in giving this dog a forever home! - Please keep in mind that many of the dogs that come into Wagmor Pets have often had very little positive human interaction, and might take a little extra love and patience to feel comfortable in your home.
Also, because our animals are rescued, we cannot guarantee their breed. In most cases, our dogs will be mixed breed. Therefore, we do recommend DNA testing with Embark! Use code WAGMOR to get $40 off an Embark Breed and Health Kit. - https://embarkvet.com/
To apply to adopt at Wagmor Pets, please submit an application at http://www.wagmorpets.org/Adoption - If after reviewing your application we feel you could potentially be a good fit, and the dog is still available, an adoption coordinator may reach out to you via e-mail or phone to schedule a 15-Minute Phone Interview to go over your application, any questions you may have about our adoption process, and help set up a meet and greet with your family.
