Colby Shepherd Mix Minneapolis, MN

Colby is such a sweet and gentle puppy. She looks like a pocket-sized German Shepherd, with ears that are still deciding if they want to be up or down or somewhere in between. We don’t know what breeds she is but we do know she’s a sweetie! Colby was one of eleven puppies and that was too many for her mom to care for so she was brought into rescue along with her siblings. Colby is currently living in a foster home with her brother Colton. Colby thinks squeaky toys and sticks are pretty fun but her real love is belly rubs! She has interacted well with children and gets along great with the 35-pound resident dog. She has shown herself to be a calm and observant puppy who learns quickly. Bonus, she has not been mouthy at all so far. Colby has so much love to give and is ready to find her forever family.

Colby is estimated to be 11 weeks old and 9 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 100 mile radius of Minneapolis.
