About Colby:
My name is Colby. I am a short coat, cream/tan colored Labrador Retriever/ Heeler mix. I am a well adjusted puppy. I currently weigh 15 lbs. I will probably get to be about 45-50 lbs when full grown. My estimated date of birth is September 20, 2019. At such a young age I was a stray on the streets. Lucky for me I was rescued and now I am trying to find my forever home. I love to play with my squeak toys. I will need a lot of puppy appropriate toys. I am good with considerate children. I am just a puppy so you'll need to be willing to give me lots of gentle guidance, so I can learn to be appropriate and learn all those big dog things. I'm working on my house training, and how to walk on a leash. I am doing very well with both considering I am so young. I hardly ever have accidents as long as I have a structure and a routine. The good news is that with the right training and LOTS of love, I'll be the best addition to your family.
An ideal home for Colby would be a family with time to continue his potty training. He is doing very well, but needs to stay on a consistent potty training schedule. Adopter for Colby must reside in the immediate Houston area and have a fully fenced yard. No exceptions. The adoption fee for Colby is $175.00.
