Meet Coffea

Coffea is ready to share her story! ?

Oh man, is this really happening? Am I really about to meet my forever family? Like, find a person who is mine forever and ever? And possibly gain a new fur brother or sister? I feel like I am dreaming!

My name is Coffea and I am around 8 weeks old. I am believed to be a German Shepherd, mixed with Great Pyrenees. I will probably top out somewhere in the 50-60lb range but honestly, it may be may be less. My siblings and I were pretty malnourished when we first came in, so it is hard to know if we are smaller to due bad nutrition or will just be more medium-sized dogs.

While I am super excited to find my forever family, I do not want to rush into anything. I want you and I both to be sure that we are a match! To help with that, I had my fosters fill out this questionnaire about me.

-How does your foster act when meeting new people?
So excited! Loves kisses!

-Does your foster jump on people?
She’s a puppy… Yes.

-Has your foster been to any public settings?
No, she is too young.

-Does your foster like going on walks?
We’re too young but loves to follow me around in the backyard.

-Do you think your foster would enjoy going for hikes?
Yes! Loves being outdoors.

-Is your foster leash trained?
Not yet!

-How does your foster do on car rides?
Good, has only riden in a kennel.

-Describe your fosters energy level?
Very active! Loves to run, hop, jump and chase her sister Vanilla. She loves playing with the 4 dogs and when the cat comes out she loves to try to play with him.

-Is your foster a big chewer?
Just puppy chewing but hasn’t been interested in the furniture!

-Does your foster like to play fetch?
Runs after toys; we’re working on bringing it back!

-Does your foster like to play in the water?
Hasn’t had a chance.

-Does your foster play with Toys?
Yes, especially the squeaky ones!

-Do you think your foster would be okay with free-roam of the house even if you are away?
No, she’s too young.

-Does your foster have food aggression?
No aggression; she is just a fast eater then wants to eat her sisters.

-Does your foster resource guard?

-Is your foster good with other dogs?

-How does your foster act around other dogs?
She loves playing with the 4 dogs I have.

-Does your foster need another dog in their new home?
Not necessarily.

-Is your foster good with cats?
Yes.. I have two. She’s very curious about them.

-Is your foster good with kids?
N/A since there are no kids in her foster home.

-Where does your foster stay when no one is home.
In the kennel in my room.

-Is your foster potty trained?
No, but we are working on it!

-Is your foster kennel trained?
Yes, especially for when I leave and night time.

-Where does your foster sleep at night?
In a kennel in my bedroom

-Would your foster dog do good in an apartment?
N/A, she is too young to say for sure.

-Is your foster a big barker?
No… but her little bark is adorable.

-What would be your fosters ideal home?

Right now, I feel VanillaCoffea would fit into just about any home environment. She is on the active side but has moments where she wants to cuddle and pass out. A family that is more on the active side would be best for her! It would help if she had another older dog that she could play with and learn the ropes from, but isn't necessary if someone is home a lot and is active.

-Is there anything else you would like to mention about your foster dog?

Coffea is a spunky puppy. She loves to play with her sister and chase the other dogs that live here. She loves to give kisses and play tug-of-war!
She’s a sweet puppy who loves to eat, sleep and play… Repeat!

Now that you have heard from my foster, let us talk about the logistics of you getting to bring me home! ?

-How can someone adopt me?
The first step is to fill out an adoption app for me at

Once this app comes in, it will get sent on to my foster family and they will help me decide if we are a match or not.

-Where are you being fostered?
I am being fostered in Tulsa, OK.

-Would I need to come to pick you up?
Yes, you would need to pick me up. This rescue does not send us on transports. It is less stress on us that way. Plus, you and I can already start bonding on the road trip home! ?

-Can I adopt you even though I don't live in Oklahoma?
Yep, I am not opposed to living in another state!

-How much is your adoption fee?

My adoption fee is $275.

That includes two sets of puppy shots and wormings. I will also have had a bordetella. I will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
