Meet Cody
Cody is equal parts cuddlebug and comedian. When he’s not lounging around collecting pets, you’ll find him tippy-tap dancing for treats—he’s got moves and he knows it! A gentle, affectionate guy with a reddish-blonde coat, Cody is the kind of dog who’s always nearby, just waiting for your hand to find his head.
He gets along well with other dogs and has lived with cats and kids. That said, small children can make him a bit anxious, so a home with older, respectful kiddos might be the best fit. He’s also got a few “no-go zones” on his body—his tail and back leg areas are strictly look-but-don’t-touch.
Cody is a recovering free-feeder and will do best being fed separately. His hero is Harry Houdini, so a secure, fenced yard and a well-fitted harness are musts. He’s house-trained, storm-shy, and loves car rides, water, and showing off his goofy expressions. He’s not a fan of being crated, so a low-anxiety setup will help him feel right at home.
