Coco's Story
Coco is a two-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd from Eagle Mountain, Utah, who’s equal parts fun, loyal, and full of life. He weighs about 30 pounds and is neutered, house-trained, and leash-trained. This handsome boy is looking for a new home simply because his family’s busy schedule and finances can’t keep up with his energy and need for attention — not because of anything he’s done wrong.

Like most Aussies, Coco is bright, affectionate, and always ready to play. He’s happiest when he has a job to do, space to explore, and people who love being active with him. He’s a high-energy dog who thrives on exercise and mental stimulation — but once he’s had his fun, he loves curling up in his crate for a nap. He spends much of his day crated and has done well with that routine, though he’d be thrilled to have more time out and about with his new family.

Coco can be shy and barky around new people at first — whether men, women, or kids — but once he gets comfortable, he’s sweet, trusting, and loving. He does very well with children once he knows them. He’s good with other dogs but isn’t suited for a home with cats (he’ll chase them).

He knows his basic command (“sit”) and would love a family who can continue his training and give him plenty of positive direction. Coco loves to play outside and has the cutest habit of climbing up the playset and sliding down the slide all on his own — it’s one of his favorite games!

This little Aussie will do best with an active individual or family who is home often, enjoys outdoor adventures, and has the time and energy to match his enthusiasm. He’s affectionate, playful, and endlessly entertaining — the kind of dog who’ll make you laugh every single day.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s as smart as he is adorable, Coco is ready to slide right into your heart. ?

If you're interested to learn more about Coco, go to diggs4dogs.com and fill out an application.
