Meet Coco

Currently fostering in Tennessee

Please meet Coco! She is a Min Pin, weighing in at 23 lbs of cuteness! She was owner surrendered to our rescue in Mississippi because her Mom could not keep her any longer. She is a cute, feisty, fun little girl that loves friends, toys, walks, rides in the car and all kinds of attention. She can be scared of new dogs at first, but if they are not aggressive with her, she is fine with all of them. She is a typical Min Pin in that she can be very particular about things, especially vet visits. She is more bluff than bite, but she doesn’t like being made to do things unless they are her idea. We absolutely adore her, but we want everyone to be aware that she does jump and get nervous (many times we think it is more fun to her than seriousness) and we do not think she needs to live with children because of this. She is a complete lap dog and loves to be petted and have the attention. She would make the perfect dog for a couple with a quiet household and lots of love to give. She is active and loves to go for walks and adventures. We know this sounds like a difficult place and that she is a hard dog, but she really is the easiest dog in her foster home. She does her own thing and loves to bebop around. She is housebroken, crate trained (but does not require a crate) and walks very well on a leash. She is not a fan of a crate and will bark when she wants out. She is just a typical, young, confident min pin.

ADOPTION INFORMATION:
We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our animals are fostered in various locations in the a South and in New England. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need.

If you are interested in one of our animals, please complete an application. The application link can be found on our Petfinder homepage under the picture. You may also find our application on our website at www.petmatchmakerrescue.com under the Adopt page. If they are listed on our website, their adoptions have not been finalized yet. That does not mean that we have not received several applications, already. Please complete an application if you are interested and we will keep you apprised of their current status. We are all volunteers who work full-time jobs and have animals of our own, so please be patient with us. We will get back with you as quickly as possible.
