What is Pound Pets Inc.’s adoption process?

Our Adoption Process: *You must complete an adoption application before meeting an animal. *We do all checks on references and vet checks.   *Please let your references know we will be calling. *Once approved, you can set up an appointment to meet any of the animals at the Granite City Animal Control, or the ones in foster homes. *There will be a meet and greet and then a home visit. *After that you will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.   $85 for Rabbits / $80 for Cats / $100 Kittens / $150 for Dogs / $200 for Puppies Six Months & Under All our animals are completely vetted with the required vaccinations, microchipped and spayed/neutered before leaving the rescue. Is Coco good with kids?

Coco is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Coco good with other animals?

Coco is good with other dogs. Coco is not good with cats.

When can I meet Coco?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Coco?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
