Clydesdale German Shorthaired Pointer Mix Clayton, NC

Clydesdale (aka - Clyde) is a playful 1 1/2 to 2 year old, 63 pound handsome German Shorthair Pointer mix. He is the type of dog who likes everyone he meets and is eager for approval. He gets along great with other dogs, is just fine with cats and even seemed ok with the chickens at his foster home! He is good with kids, but can sometimes be mouthy during play so we’d recommend a home without younger kids (8 and up is probably best).

Clyde is very people oriented and seeks attention and love. He is house trained, crate trained and quiet at night. He loves to eat and is very food motivated, which works great for training! He pulls a bit on leash but corrects easily and should improve with consistent work on-leash. He gets the zoomies and runs around the fenced backyard – it’s pure joy to witness! Such a happy dog! His idea of paradise is a large fenced yard and a loving family!

Clyde is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on flea/tick preventative. He had been heartworm positive but has already completed his heartworm treatment and is a healthy boy. Our $300 adoption fee helps to cover these expenses.
