Clover's Story

WE'RE ALMOST COMPLETELY THANKFUL
from Cynthia Branigan

If all of our available Greyhounds were safe and snug in their adoptive homes this Thanksgiving, we would be totally thankful. As it is, there's one still left in foster care and for the life of us, we can't figure out why. Perhaps this rreminder will spark the right someone to come forward and make Clover a permanent family member.
Clover (racing name CET Rover) is a darling 58-pound girl who just turned 4 in September. To say that she is joyful and affectionate doesn't come close to describing her personality. Love Bug pretty accurately sums it up. She is equally friendly to people and medium to large-size dogs. She is not, however, cat or small-dog friendly. On neighborhood walks, she is unfazed by other dogs of any size that she meets.
Clover is a girl who needs a good sprint, or to chase after a ball once or twice a day, just to burn off some energy. For that reason, a fenced yard is essential for her. After a burst of action, she's the typical Greyhound who loves to snooze. She sleeps in a crate when her foster people both go out and eats in her crate, too. Otherwise, she roams around and likes to follow her people to see what's going on.
Clover is doing beautifully with the two female Greyhounds in her foster home. The fosters have even said that if they were allowed to have more than two permanent resident dogs in their development, they'd adopt her. Can't get higher praise than that!

We place Greyhounds in homes in the following areas: all of New Jersey; Staten Island NY; and the Pennsylvania counties of Northampton, Lehigh, Berks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia and Bucks.
The adoption fee is $675.00.
For more information please visit our website at: www.makepeacewithanimals.org .
