Clover's Story

Apply to Adopt Me!
Clover is an incredibly sweet, cuddly, and playful 1-year-old, 34lb. female mixed breed (possibly shepherd/spaniel mix?) who matches her person's energy perfectly. Want to relax? She’ll happily curl up in your lap for belly rubs and cuddles. Ready to play? Clover absolutely loves fetch and gets adorably excited for it — it’s pretty much the only time you’ll hear her bark!

Clover is house trained, enjoys chewing on her toys, and loves wrestling and playing with other young dogs. When meeting new dogs, she can be a little hesitant at first, but once she warms up, she quickly becomes playful and submissive (she’ll even roll over for tummy rubs). Although she is not quite fully leash trained, she is not a hard puller and is easy to handle, so with regular walks we believe she will learn and get better quickly. She sleeps through the night in her doggie bed next to her human's bed, and she rides well in a car safely tethered in.

Clover would do best in a home with a young, playful dog and an owner who can continue helping her build confidence and learn manners. Basic puppy training would be ideal for her. Like many young pups, Clover can get excited and may jump or playfully nibble, but it’s all part of her affectionate and fun-loving personality. If a home has kids, it would be best if they were older since with her exuberance she could accidentally knock a small child down. She really enjoys running around in a yard, so a secure fence is required for her. If you believe you have the perfect home for Clover, complete an app for her and tell us about your family.
