Clint's Story
Meet Clint – Our Gentle Explorer

Clint is a very special dog who has touched the hearts of everyone he meets. At 6–7 years old and weighing about 25 lbs, this terrier mix is the perfect blend of resilience, sweetness, and adventure.

Clint spent 2.5 long years in a small rural shelter and, through no fault of his own, has already passed through five foster homes. Despite all of this upheaval, he has remained gentle, loving, and eager for connection. Now, Clint is finally ready to find his forever family.

Why You’ll Love Clint:
- House trained and well-mannered
- Calm when left alone (no destruction or noise)
- Excellent on leash — a true walker’s dream
- Content to relax on the couch or quietly watch out the window
- Gentle, affectionate, and sensitive

Clint loves his walks and thrives on daily adventures. He can happily keep pace for 5–10 km a day, proving that he’s far from an “old man” who only wants to nap. After years of confinement, he’s making up for lost time and enjoys exploring, sniffing, and being outdoors.

Clint also does wonderfully with other mature, calm dogs and gains confidence from their companionship. While a doggy friend is a bonus, what Clint truly needs is a family who will look past his grey hairs and black coat to see the treasure he is.

Clint’s Ideal Home:
-A calm, loving household with patience and consistency
-A family who enjoys walking and outdoor adventures
-Another mature, calm dog would be a great match
-Clint may not stand out at first glance, but his gentle personality, resilience, and love for life will win you over the moment you meet him. He has waited far too long for a safe, forever home where he can finally be cherished.

Medical/Vetting:
Clint is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention, and will go home with 30 days of free pet insurance.

Interested in Clint?

Apply here:

Adoption/Foster-to-Adopt Application: https://forms.gle/UQhEM1qeQfVHcx6D8

Questions?
