Clifford is a very sweet boy who is loyal and loving with his person.
He loves playing in the yard, he walks like a perfect gentleman on a leash, and he is a snuggle bug on the couch at the end of the day. He also likes to snuggle in bed with his person. He is the perfect size for this, 35lbs, he curls up at the bottom of the bed and stays there all night. Clifford loves having a canine companion to play with. He plays well with other dogs once the relationship gets comfortable. He loves snuggling with his house mate. Clifford loves his tennis ball. He will fetch and return it right back to you for as long as you are willing to play.
Clifford has had professional training. He will sit on command. He will also sit to let you know he when wants something. He is consistent with walking in a heel position and sits when the walk stops. He has learned “down” and “stay”, this will need continued training. He started learning the “come” command, which also needs further repetition. He is a very smart boy and learns quickly. He thrives on pleasing his owner and making good choices. Once Clifford knows what you want from him, he is happy to accommodate. Clifford is house trained as well as crate trained. Clifford needs to be introduced to new people slowly, in a controlled environment preferably one person at a time. Too much stimulation at once can be overwhelming for him. Clifford has been in 1foster care for over a year and will need patience and understanding when entering a new family.

Clifford has not been cat tested.
Clifford is good with older children but not toddlers.
Clifford is good with other dogs only if he is properly introduce, must be at a slow pace.

Clifford is located in Conway AR. A video visit can be arranged on request or in person
