Clifford was a stray found roaming the streets of Brooklyn. He was brought to the New York Animal Care Centers (NYCACC).<br/><br/>He wasn't adjusting well at the shelter and then slated for euthanasia but that didn't happen as an amazing, patient foster stepped up to save his life.<br/><br/>These are CLIFFORD'S STATS:<br/><br/>Approximate age 8<br/><br/>Approximate weight 82<br/><br/>Breed (s) Mixed breed Pit<br/><br/>Spayed or neutered? Neutered<br/><br/>Good with: <br/>kids? Yes older kids due to his size. Smaller active children seems to scare him<br/><br/>strangers? Yes with a slow approach<br/><br/>other dogs? Yes with proper introductions <br/><br/>cats? Unknown. He seems very interested in them.<br/><br/>On leash? Great on leash<br/><br/>Housetrained? He follows me around the house even the bathroom, When he first came, he was so frightened. With time I gained his trust and now he is so affectionate with lots of kisses and loves being petted.<br/><br/>If I didn't have dogs, I would keep him, He is very calm and has a sweet demeanor.<br/><br/>The type of home that would suit him best would be calm, loving. He gets scared of loud noises and would do best out of the city. I feel he has so much more flourishing to do.<br/><br/>Since I've had him, he has made significant strides, He does need a slow approach. He's afraid of people who yell and scream,<br/><br/>He has been eating Wellness Fish based food, Chicken irritates his skin,<br/><br/>If you are looking for an active dog, Clifford is NOT for you. He's more of a couch potato.
