Meet Claudius

Hi, my name is Claudius! I'm just about 3 years old and am looking for a new home. My previous family did a DNA test that said I'm a mix of Terrier, Chow and Coonhound. Quite a combo! I was brought back because I didn't care for the other dog in the home. I was taken to the dog park and did fine there, but my brother brought out a different reaction. Sometimes that happens with littermates so everyone is hoping that a dog that is not related to me would not bring out the same reaction. I haven't lived with a cat before so it's unknown on how I would react to one of them. I was potty trained in my last home and stood by the door when I needed to go out. I had a fenced in yard to roam in as I will run off if loose. I think I'm a lap dog and love to snuggle. I'm always up for a walk too! I currently eat Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin and Stomach as that is what my belly likes. If you want a smart boy that has good household manners, then I'm the dog for you! Apply for me today!

My adoption fee is $60.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
