Claude Labrador Retriever Mix Cincinnati, OH

Claude is a 6 year old Labrador Retriever mix who currently weighs in at 53lbs. Claude is an absolute people lover, but he needs a patient adopter who can be dedicated to giving him time to acclimate to a new environment. But once he gets comfortable, you will fall in love with how sweet, playful and very wiggly of a guy he is!

We are not sure what has happened in his past, but he takes a bit of time to adjust to other dogs, so he should not be rushed into new situations. Due to this, if there are children in the home, it would be best if they were older children. Claude absolutely loves playing tug-o-war with rope toys and playing fetch (although getting the ball back from him is quiet a challenge). He knows basic commands and takes a treat so softly, that 9/10 times, he drops it. Claude is crate trained and house broken (completely accident free in his foster home)! All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
