Meet Clark. If youre looking for a dog who likes a good stroll around the neighborhood, but likes to power nap even more, this sweet eight-year-old is your guy. Imagine a dog who will completely submerge himself under the covers. If you cant find him buried in a nest of his own making, Clarks second favorite napping place is in a patch of sun. Be warned: If you have a favorite spot on the couch, make sure to get there before him, otherwise, youll be faced with a Clark who is sitting on the ground and staring up at you. Thats him politely but forcefully insinuating you must move if you love him. If you think you wont give in, you just might after he turns away in a huff and lets out a grunt or two in protest. Oh, the drama. Hes lucky hes so cute.

Give Clark a snuffle mat or a toy with a treat in it and he will light up. To say hes treat-motivated is an understatement. Its helped when it comes to his obedience training: Clark will impress you with his sit, down, stay, come, and paw. If you have a short attention span when playing fetchgood news!so does he. Hes got about five fetches in him and then its High-five, Human, as he checks his watch and insists hes really gotta get back to chilling out. Tolerant and gentle, hes also good in the car, so if youre looking for a Road Dog, Clark is right there with you.

Clark hasnt been tested with cats, but has lived harmoniously with bunnies across two different foster homes. Hes currently an only-dog, but hes lived harmoniously with other male dogs in the past. When it comes to new humans and dogs, he prefers a formal introduction and slow integration, but ultimately he's a sweet boy with a full body wag.
