Hi there, I’m Clarice! Yep, the Clarice. Sweet, soulful eyes. Soft fur perfect for snuggling. And a heart just waiting to belong to someone.

I’m around 2.5 years old and weigh about 45-50 lbs.

I’ve been hanging out with my foster family, and they keep telling me what a good girl I am. Still, I haven’t found my forever people yet, so I figured it’s time I speak up and tell you a bit more about myself!

You see, I’m a bit of a shy gal when it comes to new things. Loud noises? No thank you. Crowded, chaotic homes? Not really my vibe. I’m hoping for a calm, quiet place with patient humans who understand that building trust takes time. Teenagers are more my speed when it comes to kiddos, those little ones move fast!

Now here’s the thing: I’m not one of those bold, jump-into-your-arms kind of dogs—unless I have a doggy friend by my side. That’s my superpower. With another pup around, I feel braver, more confident, and ready to show off my best self. So it’s a must that my future home has another dog who can show me the ropes.

Some of my favorite things? Sniffing around the yard like a detective, curling up on the couch for a cozy nap, and showing off how well I sleep in my crate (though I wouldn’t say no to sharing a bed, hint hint). I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and working hard every day to grow braver.
