Meet Clarabelle: This gorgeous little girl found herself lost and in need of medical attention and was lucky to find an advocate to get her to us. She is now all healed, and has decompressed from being stray and has blossomed into a delightful little girl who is sweet and energetic and likes to play and snuggle. She is adult at around 2 years old and fully grown at 17 lbs, but still has quite a bit of puppy energy in her, so daily walks and play time are recommended, as are putting away shoes and laundry and patience with training. She is fully house trained, loves to snuggle and gets along great with other dogs.
Clarabelle is scared of children so she is looking for an adult-only family, preferably someone who is home a lot or works from home as she doesn't like being alone. She might do well with another dog in the house to keep her company and opportunity to safely relieve herself in the middle of the day. She should not be left alone in the yard as she will find shenanigans to get into, so a doggy door is not advised.
